TM Resourcing are delighted to be working with a chain of restaurants across the UK independently ran experienced restaurateur with several successful establishments within his portfolio.

Recently and newly refurbished spending close to £1 million with plans to open before the end of March. We are looking for a general restaurant manager who can take care of a fresh new team ready for the opening.

Someone who plans, organises, directs and coordinates team members and resources of the restaurant in the best interests of the company to provide efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of food, beverages and other products, and ensures the comfort of guests while maintaining a positive reputation of the establishment

Main Duties will include:

  • Ensuring that all team members adhere to all company policies and procedures uniformly and without exception, such as uniform standards, attendance and reconciling financial transactions.

  • Co-ordinate the entire operation of a 120 seater restaurant with a 40 seater bar area upstairs.

  • Helps in any area of the operation as circumstances dictate.

  • Provide assistance to team members.

  • Responds to and resolves customer concerns and complaints.

  • Maintains consistent high standards of quality control, hygiene, legality and health and safety.

  • Responsible for stock control, rotas, stock management keeping within the budget.

  • Assist in hiring, training and development of team staff members.

  • Assign work duties and side work to team members ensuring assigned duties are completed.

  • Clean and well kept-professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar position in a high volume, high quality restaurant

  • Knowledge of Micros Point of Sale system preferable

  • Ability to operate reservation system, experience with Open Table beneficial

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Capable of communicating effectively with customers and employees

  • Knowledge of Personal Computer, Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
