Junior Brand Manager - Peterborough

Taskmaster are currently recruiting for an experienced Junior Brand Manager to join a fast growing and award winning personal care and cosmetics manufacturer based in Peterborough.

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 17.15pm Friday 9.00am - 16.00pm

They are offering a competitive salary and package which is dependent on experience.

The Role

As Junior Brand Manager you will work as part of the Accounts and Business Development team to ensure a high level of customer service on all accounts.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assist in creating detailed Brand plans in line with set briefs.
  • Attend and conduct customer and client meetings, taking ownership of internal presentations identifying.
  • Be up to date with competitor products and potential gaps in the market.
  • Have strong marketing knowledge, be able to identify what each brand requires - In store marketing, press, events, awards influencer, social media etc.
  • Be able to act as an account manager and first point of call to clients.
  • Understand briefs and be able to assist and drive new product development.
  • Deliver a high level of work to tight deadlines.

Full company training will be given to the successful candidate. Career progression opportunities in this company are vast, with options of working up into an Account Manager or Business Development Manager position.

To apply for the role of Junior Account Manager you will need:

  • Have previous experience as working in a Brand manager role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak to customers, clients and internal colleagues at all levels.
  • Previous Account management experience.
  • Previous Product development experience.
  • Previous experience of working within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills with good attention to detail.
  • Experience/knowledge of producing accurate costings.
  • Strong negotiation skill and an interest in sales.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast paced and high pressure environment.
  • Take intuitive to self-manage your workload without the need for micro-management.
  • Be open, honest and hard working.
