Technical Estimator

£30-£45k per annum plus benefits


Permanent, Full Time

We are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Precast Estimator to join our client, a supplier to the construction industry for over 10 years, offering the entire project lifecycle (design, supply and installation) to their customers nationwide.

Suitable candidates must have experience within an estimating function in the precast/construction/engineering industry coupled with customer facing experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying incoming enquiries to identify solutions and products

  • Reading technical drawings to take off dimensions and quantities

  • Generating quotes using an online CRM

  • Managing estimates from design and manufacture through to delivery and installation

  • Establishing and developing relationships with key clients both over to telephone and face to face

  • Developing supplier relationships and identifying new suppliers

You will need:

  • An engineering, construction or technical related degree or further education

  • Proven experience in full lifecycle delivery

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with technical DWG software

  • Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office software

  • Full UK driving licence
